- Open a Firefox browser window
- Install the latest version of Firefox by going to:

- If you are unable to install programs on your computer due to your company’s
internal IT restrictions, contact your IT department for help installing the latest
version of Firefox
Google Chrome
- Chrome version: Pulse assessment recommends version 49.x+
- Open a Chrome browser window

Enable JavaScript
Firefox
- Open a Firefox browser window
- In the Firefox browser window, click Tools, Options (PC) or click Firefox, Preferences
- Click Content
- Make sure Enable JavaScript is checked
- Click OK
Chrome
- Enabled by default and disabling requires coding so there is no need to do anything
here
Internet Explorer
- Open an Internet Explorer browser window
- In the Internet Explorer browser window, click Tools,
Options, Advanced
- Scroll down to Scripting
- Under Active Scripting click Enable
- Click OK
Enable iFrames
Firefox
- Firefox natively supports iFrames
- To enable
- Open a Firefox browser window
- In the address bar enter about:config
- In the Filter: browser.frames.enabled
- Double click the value to toggle from true to false.
- Open a new window for changes to appear
Google Chrome
- Supports iFrames; does not allow iFrames to be disabled
Internet Explorer 10+
- Open an Internet Explorer browser window
- Open Internet Explorer, select Tools | Internet Options
- Click the Security tab
- Click Custom level...
- Scroll down to Launching programs and files in an IFRAME
- Select Prompt (Recommended).
- Click OK

Set your monitor’s
screen resolution
Pulse assessment requires a monitor screen resolution of 1024 x 768 (or higher)
- If your screen resolution is lower than 1024 x 768, following these instructions:
- Windows 7
- Right-click on your computer's desktop; click Screen Resolution;
Using the slider under Resolution, select a screen resolution of
1024 x 768 (or higher)
- Click OK until the dialogue box(es) close(s)
Windows XP
- Right-click on your computer's desktop; go to Properties;
click the Settings tab; Using the slider, select a screen
resolution of 1024 x 768 (or higher)
- Click OK until the dialogue box(es) close(s)
